From sports to arts to culture and community, the Santa Rosa High School Club Day transformed the campus into a showcase of interests and activities that bring students together. All of the clubs available to students at SRHS came out at lunch to recruit new members and show what makes their club unique.
With the 2026-2027 school year starting and students on the hunt for extracurriculars, Club Day was the perfect way to discover the different extracurriculars on campus. Club Day was also a great way to find people with similar interests, embrace school spirit and participate in various clubs that can look great on college applications. Some of them will also give out cords at graduation.
There are many clubs that students can join and enjoy such as PB&J Club, Debate Club, Future Farmers of America Club (FFA), Art Club, Math Club, Youth Activism Club; the list goes on. They are a great way to show off skills you have and skills you’re practicing. You can even start your own! The possibilities are endless when it comes to joining or rejoining clubs. Agriculture and ASB teacher and FFA leader Lisa Piehl said, “Club Day is important so that students can see the variety of clubs that SRHS has to offer, it also allows them the opportunity to learn about and possibly join these clubs. We had over 25 different clubs represented last Friday.”
Some clubs also do sponsored events and help out with school activities. This includes fundraisers, bake sales, games at lunch and many more. One exciting new club this year is the Neuroscience Club. It’s important to embrace your passions and show it off in a club that’s right for you. It helps you learn community service and build life skills outside of school. Club Day has been a tradition that has been with the school for decades and it’s just one of the many ways to show your spirit.
