Without argument, Monster Energy is one of the most popular energy drinks ever. You see them in your classrooms’ recycling bins, on top of desks and even in some teachers’ hands. If you haven’t had a Monster before, I have the solution for you. Here are nine different monster flavors ranked from best to worst. These drinks range from sweet to sour to bitter.
First place goes to Mean Bean! This flavor is a delicious, sweet coffee Monster; it’s a perfect start for anyone who hasn’t had a Monster before. You will instantly fall in love with the coffee mojo. 9.5/10
Second place goes conveniently to the next coffee Monster Latte. With a less sweet and bitter taste, Monster Latte is great for any coffee lover; it’s an absolute win. 9.2/10
Third place goes to Aussie Lemonade! It is a refreshing drink that will fulfill your lemon thirst and caffeine addiction. 8.9/10
Fourth place goes to Mango Loco. It’s a tropical-taste trip right onto a beach in Hawaii. 8/10
Fifth place goes to Strawberry Dream. As it sounds, it’s dreamy, and they hit the strawberry flavor perfectly. 7.2/10
Sixth place goes to Pipeline Punch. This one was just “meh”: not great, but not amazing, just okay. 7/10
Seventh place goes to Pacific Punch. Sadly, this is where the flavors just start going downhill. It was a punch—a punch to the face of just plain “meh” flavor. 6.9/10
Eighth place goes to the original. For anyone who has had this, you most likely understand that it’s not the best, but people still like it. 6.7/10
Ninth place goes to Ultra Peach, which is not only ultra great at making you have a terrible aftertaste in your mouth, but also still tastes like the original monster.
