For many students, school mornings are very stressful. Eating, dressing and getting out the door as soon as possible can be difficult. To attack the day, you need morning sustenance; obtaining that sustenance is key to success. Here are some healthy, quick breakfast ideas to jumpstart your day.

The first meal idea is eggs with seasoning. Eggs are relatively easy and quick to make. They are loaded with nutrients, including vitamin B12, vitamin B2, vitamin D, selenium, iodine and other essential minerals, and they also tend to have substantial protein. Some seasonings you can add are salt and pepper or cajun seasoning, which go well with eggs. 

The second easy meal option is delectable avocado toast; if you have the ingredients, you can throw the meal together quickly. To make this, you only need to toast a piece of bread and spread an avocado on the bread. Avocados have many nutrients, including vitamins C, E and K, and potassium and fiber. I recommend salt for seasoning, as that makes it taste much better.

A third breakfast choice is cereal with fruit. Everyone has seen this in pictures of cereal boxes, but only some have tried it. It incorporates grains, dairy and fruit. It also allows you to have variety, as you can include multiple cereals and several types of fruits. It isn’t the healthiest option on the list, but the nutrients it provides, such as from grains and fruit, can be important.

The fourth option is a fruit and greens smoothie. These smoothies have shown beneficial results to those striving for weight loss by replacing their typical breakfast. Choices can range from a mix of blueberries, bananas and avocados to greens such as spinach and kale. With around a five-minute preparation period, there’s no need to worry about taking time away from your busy morning to nourish yourself. 

All of these meals can be improved if you have the time to do so; these are just basic meals that can be done swiftly. They provide good nutrients and will help you build a happy and healthy lifestyle.
