As we get further into the school year, curriculum is becoming more difficult. Having resources to help you study can increase your likelihood of understanding material which will in turn improve your grades in the long run. With AI continuing to advance, you have easily accessible help 24/7: a partner who never sleeps, answers the most difficult questions and can tailor lessons specifically for you. However, a tool like this is only helpful if you know how to use it. It’s important to use AI study tools as what they are: assistance, not a replacement for you doing the work yourself. That said, when used correctly, AI can be an incredibly helpful tool in your academic career.
Thetawise is an AI-powered math tutor who provides step-by-step instructions to any math problem. While those who simply copy the work learn very little, those who attempt to solve the problem first then check the answers, plus the step-by-step instructions on how to get the answer, get more benefits and overall have an easier time in school. Thetawise also generates practice problems for any grade level which helps you be even more prepared for exams.
AI isn’t only useful for math; take Notebook LM for example. Notebook LM can summarize and extract key information from anything like PDFs, Google Docs, images, YouTube videos and much more. If you have any questions on the text that has been summarized the response will come in seconds. It can also help you prepare for a test by generating flashcards, study guides and quizzes. There is even a feature to listen to any of your work, which basically acts like a podcast. Freshman Linda Vasquez said, “I understand the information way easier in a conversational way.” When used right, AI can be an excellent tool to help you study and understand information.
With these AI study tools like Notebook LM and Thetawise, you can easily take a walk outside while listening to a podcast to help you study or check your homework. The possibilities are endless.
