FFA Seeks Help After North Bay Fires

By Patricia Gomez The raging fires that hit Northern California in early October, and the Santa Rosa High School Ag Farm saw the lasting effects. The farm was used by FFA members who raised market goats and sheep and by the horticulture class. The farm, a grand sixty-two acres, is now only 6 acres. Four barns burned down, which had about 45 to 50 thousand dollars in equipment. Panthers help out fellow Panthers

By Isabella DeMattei Santa Rosa High School is known throughout Sonoma County as a welcoming place for all, and in the aftermath of the devastating Sonoma County fires, SRHS’s reputation as a caring community was resolidified. The students and staff of SRHS have come together in many different ways to help out the community. The High School hosted many Town Hall meetings for government officials and first responders to share crucial information to the public.
